I’m coming in With a little bit hazy You’ve met the man But he’s just a myth It all seems easy When I’ve been drinking But it’s only thing That I’ve got going tonight Most of these names disappear with age Take a play right off their own page Do you see, do you see what I mean The guiltless left us here to bleed When you want everything Everything you see Your grounded ideas Become a little unchained A state of mind With a loose disease Run right on by To a criminal mind Most of these names disappear with age Take a play right off their own page Do you see, do you see what I mean The guiltless left us here to bleed All that’s left here now Is all that we allow Most of these names disappear with age Take a play right off their own damn page Do you see, do you see what I mean The guiltless left us here to bleed The guiltless left us here to bleed

There’s too many things to say And not enough words to convey The thoughts that run In circles on The treadmill running inside of my head There’s too many thoughts On my mind And I can’t pick out a single one I wish that I could say All the things I want to say I wish I thought you would listen to every single word I wish that we Could have made this more Than what it’s become But I won’t say it No I won’t say it Thoughts of you And I bleed out Of my head Leaving scars on memories Yea, we just sit In silence until One of us forgets the questions unanswered The days go by without any words from you I wish that I could say All the things I want to say I wish I thought you would listen to every single word I wish that we Could have made this more Than what it’s become But I won’t say it No I won’t say it I wish that I could say All the things I want to say I wish I thought you would listen to every single word I wish that we Could have made this more Than what it’s become But I won’t say it No I won’t say it

You’re standing across the room Dressed in your wedding best You look so lovely over there Like an angel, completely unaware I’m drowning in your blue eyed stare And it’s hard for me to breathe this air This is my goodbye Yea, this is my goodbye Like all the things that must someday die This is my last goodbye I must be out of my mind Because I shouldn’t be here at all I guess you could say I’m in love with the heartbreak And yet it’s difficult for me to look away Say hello and I’ll find a reason to stay Is it easier if I go away This is my goodbye Yea, this is my goodbye Like all the things that must someday die This is my last goodbye So caught up in my own denial That I couldn’t even see your smile This is my goodbye Yea, this is my goodbye Like all the things that must someday die This is my last goodbye Yea this is my last goodbye Yea this is my last goodbye Goodbye

White flag And nothing but fear I started out strong But now I’m shaking Mark off another year Another one disappears Why doesn’t anyone see The death happening inside of me Every time that I believe It should have been me Downfall Whatever happened to peace Can we get some rest In these here ruins Each one a grain of sand It’s far out of my hands Why doesn’t anyone see The death happening inside of me Every time that I believe It should have been me Hitting a wall No one to call Nothing at all No nothing at all Why doesn’t anyone see The death happening inside of me Every time that I believe It should have been me

Stay Away 04:34
Well this ain’t new I’ve heard it before I just never thought that I’d hear it from you And I don’t need your pity No not anymore It’s just another thing for you to take with you when you go And now you’re sitting here telling me about all things that I don’t do Well let me know when you’re through so I can have a turn Lets get one thing straight you’re the one who walked away But now you’re trying so hard to play hard these days You’re standing there silent I’m just sad, but I’m the one who has to say Oh why do you want to stay away, yea stay away from me Hey that’s okay Maybe I ain’t your thing But you weren’t saying any of those things yesterday You’re gonna try me again Heh, one day just you wait One of these days you’re gonna wish that you had stayed And I’m just sitting here wondering just how this will all come back around Let me know when he’s through with you so I can turn you away Lets get one thing straight you’re the one who walked away But now you’re trying so hard to play hard these days You’re standing there silent I’m just sad, but I’m the one who has to say Oh why do you want to stay away, yea stay away from me When you make it back around maybe then you’ll finally have something to say to me
Lets get one thing straight you’re the one who walked away Lets get one thing straight you’re the one who walked away But now you’re trying so hard to play hard these days You’re standing there silent I’m just sad, but I’m the one who has to say Oh why do you want to stay away, yea stay away from me Stay away from me Stay away from me

Black tie affair With a delicate dress Whiskey and dead stars Moving way too quick Summer time beats Swimming in the heat Red hair can’t pretend that We’re almost there But no, not quite yet No, not quite yet Now we both know That we’ve both been here before And you’re smiling at me again And I can see the future It’s one I’ll never have But you’re smiling at me again Drown in another whisky To help me forget All of my deficiencies Just a few more to go Dressed to impress And white lies to share All night long And not a single protest Yea no, not quite yet No, not quite yet Now we both know That we’ve both been here before And you’re smiling at me again And I can see the future It’s one I’ll never have But you’re smiling at me again And I just wanted to say That you, you’re so much better off without me And I know that now But you’re smiling at me again Now we both know That we’ve both been here before And you’re smiling at me again And I can see the future The one I’ll never have But you’re smiling at me again

about

An actual rock and roll album from Koby.

I always have a few very decidedly rock tunes in every batch of songs that get written each year. Makes sense since I'm big into rock music. However, those songs have a hard time finding a home on the various projects I've released. This album contains a few songs from my 2021 writing sessions plus a couple of left over tunes that could never find a home, but fit in very well with the style of this record.
