We can talk For just a little while This feels easier Now that you know Morning shines through W lost track of time No expectations Means no complaints Ask me anything you want to know Of course we can take it slow In these small hours In these small hours It’s okay To not really know Don’t you worry It just takes time This could be great You just never know Words come easier When we’re alone together Ask me anything you want to know Of course we can take it slow In these small hours In these small hours Ask me anything you want to know There’s no reason to take this slow In these small hours In these small hours In these small hours In these small hours In these small hours In these small hours

She’s half a town away from the ring that she left on the floor She finally knew that she couldn’t take this anymore Maybe it’s time for her to take a little bit of a break Maybe it’s time for her to make an escape She’s leaving Dallas She’s leaving him behind She’s falling apart As she picks up the pieces She’s heading home And never coming back here She’s leaving this place She’s leaving Dallas She can’t believe so much changed in the last few days Her heart’s been broken in the worst kind of way Maybe it’s time for her to finally see That she can go back to being who she used to be She’s leaving Dallas She’s leaving him behind She’s falling apart As she picks up the pieces She’s heading home And never coming back here She’s leaving this place She’s leaving Dallas How come no one seems to know That it’s these broken hearts that lead to broken homes She’s leaving Dallas She’s leaving him behind She’s falling apart As she picks up the pieces She’s heading home And never coming back here She’s leaving this place She’s leaving Dallas She’s leaving Dallas She’s leaving Dallas

You & Me 04:15
I walked you to your car, but that was bad enough Now we’re, we’re doing things we shouldn’t speak of Long talks on your tailgate at night Beating hearts from a breathless kiss When you walk away I feel like such a lightweight You and me Are gonna be a sight to see And we Could be so wonderful indeed Maybe it’s me Maybe I’m just a bit naive When I I see You and me I think it’s getting late maybe it’s time to go You’ve got someone waiting on you at home Good bye, good night, please get home safe And remember that I like you in one piece When you walk away I feel like such a lightweight You and me Are gonna be a sight to see And we Could be so wonderful indeed Maybe it’s me Maybe I’m just a bit naive When I I see You and me You and me When you walk away I feel like such a lightweight You and me Are gonna be a sight to see And we Could be so wonderful indeed Maybe it’s me Maybe I’m just a bit naive When I I see You and me You and me, yeah

She said slow down boy You’re moving too fast We’re not in a rush And we want this last It’s times like these I want to be at ease And all the things that keep me awake I wish they’d give me a break I should be past all of this dismay But I know there’s no escape No, no, no there’s no escape There’s no escape She said what’s wrong boy You’re no longer alone Well I’m here right now You were always my home It’s times like these I want to be at ease And all the things that keep me awake I wish they’d give me a break I should be past all of this dismay But I know there’s no escape No, no, no there’s no escape There’s no escape It’s times like these I want to be at ease And all the things that keep me awake I wish they’d give me a break I should be past all of this dismay But I know there’s no escape No, no, no there’s no escape There’s no escape There’s no escape There’s no escape

She has a grip on his broken wings That’s why it’s hard for him to fly She’s forgotten how to have a dream It seems like she never really tried And he’s trying to figure out what to say He can’t watch her live her life this way Don’t you see Don’t you see What you want isn’t always what you need Don’t you see Don’t you see Don’t you see He wonders what she does with her nights Hoping in sadness she’s doing alright She’s been crying in her bed every night again Spilt tears over a dream she let go of And he’s waiting for her to come back around She can’t watch him live his life this way Don’t you see Don’t you see What you want isn’t always what you need Don’t you see Don’t you see Don’t you see She must of had Reasons for leaving Not a one that he could see She must of had Reasons for leaving He thinks it must have been him Don’t you see Don’t you see What you want isn’t always what you need Don’t you see Don’t you see Don’t you see Don’t you see Don’t you see

Another day comes, another day goes Nothing ever stops these hours passing by There’s a clock that ticks the days away I can’ figure out how to turn it back I’m breathing in and breathing out, over and over Trying to keep a hold on my self control There’s not much hope left In this broken heart of mine I thought I had a hold on this But it slipped from my hands The more I try to hold on The more I see it go All I can do Is pick myself up Over and over again, again Well who knew this wouldn’t go as planned Tried to get it right but wrong got in the way Broken down isn’t how I planned to be But I’ve learned now that nothing’s what it seems I’d do anything to make her stay But all my plans ran like whiskey off my hands I can’t make the sun shine So it just stays dark inside all the time I thought I had a hold on this But it slipped from my hands The more I try to hold on The more I see it go All I can do Is pick myself up Over and over again, again I thought I had a hold on this But it slipped from my hands The more I try to hold on The more I see it go All I can do Is pick myself up Over and over again, again Over and over again, again

Slow dancing in the living room Early in the night Moonlight cast our shadows on the wall Is this for forever Is this just for tonight Either way, I couldn’t have ask for a better time We’ve been waiting on this For most of all our lives Can’t believe getting here took us this damn long Is this really happening Is this just another dream Never thought I’d have you like this in my life Dear God, why’d we wait so long to share this kiss Think of all the pain and all the tears we could have missed Things would be so much better if we’d just done this from the start Why didn’t we do this from the very start Sitting alone on the couch Holding each other tight Saying all of the words we never could say before Your head’s on my shoulders Our hands are intertwined Never thought holding you would feel this right Dear God, why’d we wait so long to share this kiss Think of all the pain and all the tears we could have missed Things would be so much better if we’d just done this from the start Why didn’t we do this from the very start Slow dancing in the living room Later in the night Moonlight fades away as morning shines I was really hoping This would be forever I guess what I gots gonna have to be good enough Dear God, why’d we wait so long to share this kiss Think of all the pain and all the tears we could have missed Things would be so much better if we’d just done this from the start Why didn’t we do this from the very start Why didn’t we do this from the very start Why didn’t we do this from the very start Why didn’t we do this from the very start

Well now Here you are again Can you tell me Where do we begin We're up and we're down and you leave and then come back around And I don’t understand why, why this never goes as planned And it’s not like you don’t love me And it’s not like you don’t love me, yea baby Now you say you're back You say you’re back for good And I’m left wondering Can I believe you Well you start then you stop and I wait for the other shoe to drop And it seems like to me, yea, you’re never quite ready for me And it’s not like you don’t love me And it’s not like you don’t love me, yea baby For all the times I said that I love you You'd think that maybe, yea maybe you could say it too It’s not like you don’t love me It’s not like you don’t love me And it’s not like you don’t love me And it’s not like you don’t love me, yea baby And it’s not like you don’t love me And it’s not like you don’t love me, yea baby

Again 03:59
You said, I’m leaving you today Just like all the times before Could you see my heart was already torn Every time you headed for the door Oh You said, I’m never gonna change And I guess you’re right You said, you were never satisfied Well maybe it’s because you didn’t even care to try Woah oh, oh Woah oh, oh You said, goodbye, once again Did you even notice me crying in our bed Or were you still miles and miles away With him in your head, in your head Oh You said, I’m never gonna change And I guess you’re right You said, you were never satisfied Well maybe it’s because you didn’t even care to try Woah oh, oh Woah oh, oh How could you be so cold to me All of these years we were meant to grow old You promised me You said, I’m never gonna change And I guess you’re right You said, you were never satisfied Well maybe it’s because you didn’t even care to try Woah oh, oh Woah oh, oh Woah oh, oh Woah oh, oh

Come Back 04:40
Did you forget about me again Is there room enough for me to breathe I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to be You're living a dream but it's killing me You were suppose help me get by So that I could survive, stay alive It takes all I have to not feel sad And I think I've been had Come back, come back Cause you only have to stay Come back, come back Cause that's all it really takes I've got a few things to say to you More than enough to make your head full So please just let me to say my peace (Say my peace) And after that I'll leave, I’ll let you be What you say ain't what you do And you may think I'm a fool for you It's such a bother that you don't try harder To keep me close to you Come back, come back Cause you only have to stay Come back, come back, Cause that's all it really takes Come back to me Come back to me Come back to me Come back to me Come back to me Come back to me

Fade in on the heartbreak Give a kiss and walk away Just like the last time And they all seemed to know She was never gonna stay But did she even try at all At all It’s time to let her run away You know she’ll be back some day It’s time to let her run away She’ll come back Maybe let her, maybe let her Fade in on the last kiss Take it in freeze frame Notice how it feels the same It’s always a different guy But she’s never gonna change So it’s the same every time Every time It’s time to let her run away You know she’ll be back some day It’s time to let her run away She’ll come back Maybe let her, maybe let her No one knows what’s in store For our little prodigal girl Fade in on the next hello She never truly lets them go It’s time to let her run away You know she’ll be back some day It’s time to let her run away She’s coming back Let her run away Let her run away

And I will borrow words from all of my favorite songs So I can tell you how I’m barely getting along Between small sips of your wine you spell out our demise Before I leave your place for this, the very last time And the words will escape your lips as you mark out every mistake Every mistake I made along the way In between tearful pauses I glimpse your flawless face And you can sing along to all of my forgotten songs But I’ve heard this all before And I know I can’t take this anymore I’ll be okay Is that what you want me to say I can let you go Is that what you want me to say I’ll still love you Is that what you want me to say I’ll be okay Is that what you want me to say And then it was my turn to say my peace but the words go lost They got lost somewhere in between these sheets So you held my hand as you curled up in my arms I prayed you’d say you’re forever here to stay But I've felt this all before And I know I can't take this any more I’ll be okay Is that what you want me to say I can let you go Is that what you want me to say I’ll still love you Is that what you want me to say I’ll be okay Is that what you want me to say Don't go away Now maybe I should let you go before I hate myself tomorrow And you can figure out how to calm this storm inside your head It will be okay Is that what you want me to say You can let me go Is that what you want me to say I will always miss you Is that what you want me to say It will be okay Is that what you want me to say Don't go away

about

The first full length album from Koby, “Broken Hearts & Broken Homes” ties several of the loose threads from the previous EPs into a cohesive package. Attacking the actions of loving, losing, and leaving in songs like “You & Me” with its contagious pop elements, the reflective “From the Very Start”, or the story telling in “She’s Leaving Dallas” Koby attempts to look at relationships in the modern era.

Through out the 12 tracks presented to the listener, Koby utilizes some of the most personal moments from his own life to take you on a musical journey through love, heartbreak, self discovery, and hope. Through a congealed pop/rock essence, he invites you to sing along as he breaks your heart, one song at a time.
